Kikyo Nakamura: Reaching for Her Destiny

The newest PREMIER Women’s Athlete on the roster is “The Fallen Flower” Kikyo Nakamura (0-1). Nakamura made her promotion debut at PREMIER X this past September in San Jose when she teamed up with RAZE (0-2) against Nicole Savoy (3-1) and Kahmora (1-1). Though she ended up losing the fall by submission to Kahmora’s power kimura armlock, Nakamura’s showing in that tag team match opened a lot of eyes in the PREMIER locker room and among the fans.

Nakamura’s performance in her debut earned her a spot in the tournament to crown the first ever PREMIER Women’s Champion on Saturday, November 28th in Gilroy, CA at PREMIER XI. “The Fallen Flower” is excited to be included in this upcoming tournament.

“I return to PREMIER to face off against three of the best women this company has to offer,” said Nakamura. “I have been on both sides of the ring with all of these women and their combined talent is enough to get anyone’s heart pumping.”

Kikyo Nakamura is a mix of power and speed. She can slam you through the mat or even take it to the air with a standing moonsault press. Though she possesses great skill inside the four corners of a ring, Nakamura’s ability to intimidate her opponents has led her to victory before the hammer has struck the bell. Nakamura wanted to leave some intimidating words for the other three competitors in the tournament.

“The holidays are coming and ’tis the season to follow the flowers; to become a part of the Buru Nation. I will reach my destiny in becoming the first ever PREMIER Women’s Champion and PREMIER will cower in the name of Kikyo.”

PREMIER XI takes place live on Saturday, November 28th at the IFDES Lodge – Portuguese Hall, 250 Old Gilroy St in Gilroy, CA. Showtime is at 5:00 PM.  Doors Open at 4:30 PM.

RAZE: Determined To Be Champion

RazeAction

On Saturday November 28th at PREMIER XI in Gilroy, CA, we will crown our first ever Premier Women Athletes Champion. On that night, four of the top women athletes in pro wrestling will compete in a one night single elimination tournament to crown a first ever champion. One of the competitors is RAZE (0-2) from Southern California. Though she has yet to score a victory in Premier, don’t let that record fool you, Raze is one of the top young women athletes in the sport today.

“Premier has an amazing roster of top of tier athletes” said Premier President and matchmaker John LaRocca. “No athlete wants to lose, but there is no easy victories on our roster, so Raze being winless so far in Premier does not take away she is one of the sports brightest young athletes today. It is only a matter of time she have wins on her record here, she is just that good.”

“I remember when I made my debut for Premier Wrestling in 2014” said RAZE. “I was beyond excited to wrestle for a company that has a distinct brand and maintains wrestler’s win-loss records. I knew that, though young in the sport, wrestling for Premier would require me to rethink my typical approach to wrestling and push me in a more serious, sports minded direction”.

Every wrestler dreams of winning championship and on November 28th, Raze will be competing for very first chance at wining a women’s championship.

“When I was informed that this November I will be one of four females competing for the first Premier Women’s championship title, I was beyond excited” said RAZE. “This will be the first time I ever compete for a women’s title”. “To know that Premier puts its faith in me to potentially hold a title for them is overwhelming”.

At the end of 2013, Premier made the decision to feature women’s wrestling. Women’s wrestling has produced some of the most exciting battles in the sports history, and with the growing number of women talent in the state of California, the time is now right to crown our first Premier Women Athletes Champion.

“John LaRocca is very serious about giving athletes a place to shine, and the fact that he is introducing a women’s title show that he not only recognizes local female talent, but trusts that we can bring solid matches to Premier at each show” said RAZE.

Going into this tournament, RAZE is completely focused in walking out on November 28th as the new champion. In this sport, you cannot be one dimensional, you must have more then one tool in your tool box to get the job done.

“I find myself thinking beyond my normal thoughts on wrestling” said Raze “I’ve been working on my grappling and submission game at my home of Santino Bros wrestling, and learning more about lucha under the tutelage of Los Luchas. Additionally I’ve been working on cutting weight and building muscle to assist in my speed and, well, ability to throw people around”.

RAZE is ready for whomever stands in her way to winning the first championship of her career. She is ready to do what she always does when she steps inside the squared circle, cause chaos and destruction.

“Come November 28th, whoever I step in the ring with is in for a fight, be it Nicole Savoy, Kahmora, or Kikyo. I never promise a victory, but I do promise the fans of Premier Wrestling and my opponent that they are in for one hell of a match”

Kahmora: Eyes The Gold

11079362_595664563870501_6129723020328633738_n

For every athlete, the goal is being a champion. On Saturday, November 28th in Gilroy, CA, Kahmora (1-1) has her shot at becoming the first ever Premier Women Athletes Champion. Kahmora joins a field of four in the tournament featuring Nicole Savoy (3-1), Kikyo Nakamura (0-1) and RAZE (0-2). Kahmora has put in hard work in the gym and in training to become a champion, now on November 28th, she will get her chance to finally strap the gold around her waist.

“I feel so privileged to be a part of the Premier Women’s Tournament” said Kahmora. “I look forward to showcasing my skills amongst a tough and talented lineup of women”.

Kahmora bursted onto the Premier scene on March 20th in San Jose at PREMIER VIII earlier this year. She went toe to toe with Nicole Savoy in a grueling high impact match, but in the end, it was Savoy who ended up with her hand raised in victory. Though she suffered a defeat in her Premier debut, Kahmora’s effort did not go unnoticed by Premier President and matchmaker John LaRocca.

“Kahmora might not have won that night, but damn, she impressed the hell out of me” said John LaRocca. “Every athlete wants to win and I know there is no moral victories in this game, but Kahmora earned her spot in Premier with her effort in that match with Savoy”.

Kahmora would find herself teaming with Nicole Savoy at PREMIER X on September 19th in San Jose against Raze and Kikyo Nakamura in tag team action. It was an exciting match, that thrilled the crowd at Del Mar High School. Finally, Kahmora secured the victory for her team with a submission over Kikyo Nakamura with the kimura armlock. With that win, Kahmora is riding a wave of momentum going into the tournament and is looking forward to competing against the other women in the tournament.

“We’re all friends outside the ring, but we have no problem fighting for what we all believe is ours” said Kahmora. “It is cliché to say, but once that bell rings, friendship is thrown out the window”.

Becoming the first Premier Women Athletes champion would be an honor, not for just being the first ever champion, but it would be important to win the title for a company that Kahmora the loves and respects.

“Premier has some of the most positive energy, talented athletes and camaraderie amongst those in the locker room and everyone who helps put the event together” said Kahmora. “It would be an honor to represent the company as champion. On November 28th, I am going to leave it all inside that ring that night. My strength and conditioning training, my cardio are all on point. I am in the best condition of my life. That gold is coming around this beautiful waste of mine”.

Premier XI takes place on Saturday, November 28th at the IFDES Lodge – Portuguese Hall, 250 Old Gilroy St in Gilroy, CA. Show Time is 5:00PM. Doors Open at 4:30PM.
