Lewis Injured; Gallo In!

“The Flying Lion” Marcus Lewis (5-4) has suffered a serious injury and is unable to compete for the Premier Heavyweight Championship against the champion “The God Of War” JR Kratos (9-2) on Saturday, November 28th in Gilroy, CA. Stepping to take his place is Gabriel Gallo (4-0).

“It was a tough decision having to pull Marcus Lewis off his title match after he suffered his injury, but health of our athletes is number one” said the Premier President and matchmaker John LaRocca. “Proving why Marcus Lewis is such a class act in and out of the ring, he understood my decision and wants to focus on getting healthy to return to the ring in 2016”.

Gabriel Gallo has been undefeated since he made his Premier debut back in August of 2015. One by one he has ran through his opponents including his long time tag team partner Dom “The Bomb” Vitalli (1-3) at Premier X in September. Many fans have been waiting to see the champion JR Kratos and Gabriel Gallo lock up in the center of the ring, and do to unfortunate circumstances, this match between two giants is now happening on November 28th.

“After every show and on social media, the fans always ask me when will we see JR Kratos versus Gabriel Gallo” said John LaRocca. “The dream match is now a reality, and I just hope the ring can hold up when these two collied. It is going to be one match we will never forget”.

PREMIER XI takes place on Saturday, November 28th at the IFDES Lodge – Portuguese Hall, 250 Old Gilroy St, in Gilroy, CA. Show time is 5PM. Doors open at 4:30pm.
