Nick Ruiz Returns to Face The Hawaiian Lion

With just under a month until PREMIER X, the matches just keep on rolling out! Live at Del Mar High School in San Jose, CA, Nick Ruiz (3-4) returns to face the debuting Hawaiian Lion (0-0)!

Known for his no-nonsense attitude, “The Wise Guy” Nick Ruiz has frequently pushed other Athletes on the roster to the limit. PREMIER X will be Ruiz’ first match back with #TeamRespect since his bout with Julio Pedroza (3-3) at the end of 2014. In classic fashion, Ruiz tangled with Pedroza before the fans in Gilroy. Unfortunately, he would lose the match after suffering a Pistol Rack from the one they call “El Pistolero.” Nick Ruiz is back now set on returning to the winning side of the PREMIER Records. To do so, he’ll have to go through a man making his debut at PREMIER.

Following in the footsteps of “Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb (6-2-1) and Kaimana (1-3), the Hawaiian Lion arrives at PREMIER with a strong following from the Aloha State. A brutal striker, Hawaiian Lion has no problem dishing out as much punishment as he himself can take. This island juggernaut now looks to plow through his opponent in his PREMIER debut, thereby solidifying his place on #TeamRespect.

On Saturday, September 19th at Del Mar High School in San Jose, Nick Ruiz and the Hawaiian Lion step into the ring live at PREMIER X! The only way to experience this match and many more is to be there in person! Early bird tickets are still available for just $10 each. Get yours today before they go up to the full price of $15 at the door.

Del Mar High School is located at 1224 Del Mar Avenue in San Jose, CA.

Doors open at 5:30p, show starts at 6p.
