Buddy Royal and Joe Graves are Set for Singles Action

As PREMIER returns to the I.F.D.E.S. Lodge in Gilroy, another intense bout between a pair of tough grappling Athletes is on the card. “Ace” Buddy Royal (2-3) and Joe Graves (1-0-1) will look for their next solid win on Sunday, June 7th.

“Ace” Buddy Royal last saw PREMIER action in November of 2014 against “The Iron Idol” Idris Jackson (1-2). Both matched in speed, the two Athletes would unleash their own unique arsenals in order to secure a much needed win. As Royal went to secure a figure-four leglock for the win, Jackson would reverse the maneuver with a roll up to claim his first victory. Now nearly six months later, Buddy looks to improve to .500 against a PREMIER Athlete who participated in the 2014 Match of the Year.

PREMIER prides itself on giving the people what they want. In November of 2014, Joe Graves wrestled Timothy Thatcher (2-2-1) to a draw in the Match of the Year. As the fans in Gilroy chanted for five more minutes, PREMIER President and Booker John LaRocca was already preparing contracts for a 30 minute rematch. Both men would stretch the other beyond their limits, but it was Graves who would gain the upper hand on a mistake by Thatcher and lock his opponent into a rear naked choke. Now Joe Graves looks to roll on to a second win and make his first appearance on the PREMIER Top 10.

It’s “Ace” Buddy Royal going one-on-one against Joe Graves with a position on the Top 10 on the line. The only way to find out who comes out on top is to be there live on Sunday, June 7th at the I.F.D.E.S. Lodge – Portuguese Hall in Gilroy, CA.
