On June 7th, two of the most popular Athletes on the PREMIER Roster square off. One a veteran with a career that exceeds the term impressive, the other a young buck who has proved his mettle in a short time. But both men are looking to comeback after a loss in their last match. At PREMIER IX, Timothy Thatcher (2-2-1) goes one-on-one against Marcus Lewis (4-3).

At PREMIER VIII, Timothy Thatcher provided quite the treat for the crowd in San Jose as he faced Joe Graves (1-0-1) in a rematch of the 2014 Match of the Year. The time limit for this duel was extend to 30 minutes. Although both men wrestled to a 15-minute draw the first time around, Graves would gain the upper hand past the halfway mark and force Thatcher to tap out to a Rear Naked Choke. Although he wrestled in what could once again be a nominee for Match of the Year, Timothy Thatcher must look past his loss towards his young, dynamic opponent.

Marcus Lewis was within seconds of becoming the PREMIER Heavyweight Champion. Despite flawlessly hitting J.R. Kratos with the 450 Splash, Lewis would be overpowered by the Champion. Though he didn’t win the gold, he earned the respect of “The God of War” and the crowd in attendance in his hometown of San Jose. Now Marcus Lewis returns to Gilroy to face off against on of the top veterans in the game. But as history shows us, Lewis has had a rough time against the more experienced Athletes.
