“The God of War” Defends the Title Against “The Golden Boy”

PREMIER is set to return to Gilroy once more! Headlining PREMIER IX on June 7th is a rematch of the first ever match in our storied history. Only this time, there’s gold on the line. PREMIER Heavyweight Champion J.R. Kratos (7-2) defends the title against “The Golden Boy” Dylan Drake (4-3).

J.R. Kratos most recently defended the Championship against Marcus Lewis (4-3) at PREMIER VIII in San Jose. “The God of War” as he’s come to be known overpowered his opponent. Though that’s not to say he didn’t have his hands full against the spry hometown hero in Lewis. Despite taking the full brunt of a 450 Splash, the Champion still managed to put away the challenger with his Chokeslam-Powerbomb Combination. Now Kratos must prepare for one of the most opportunistic Athletes on the PREMIER Roster.

“The Golden Boy” Dylan Drake had one of the best matches of the night at PREMIER VIII. From his entrance courtesy of the Del Mar High School Marching Band to his stealthy roll up victory over “El Pistolero” Julio Pedroza (3-3), Drake had the crowd in the palm of his hand. Another tool “The Golden Boy” often has in his hand is a pen. And when “Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb (5-2-1) was unable to sign on for the Championship match, Dylan Drake was quick to put ink to paper and secure his spot in the main event. Now we’ll see if he can be just as crafty within the ring.
