Jeff Cobb: No Excuses

“Mr. Athletic” Jeff Cobb (4-2-1) has rarely faced defeat in his pro wrestling career. But recently in PREMIER, the former champion has suffered two losses in a row, first losing the PREMIER Heavyweight Championship to JR Kratos last August and then a number one contender’s match to Marcus Lewis in November. How does the Olympian deal with it? He gets right back to the grind.

“I have no excuses for my loss to Marcus Lewis. Back in November, he was the better man. I wish him nothing but the best of luck against JR Kratos for the title on March 20th” said a focused Jeff Cobb.

On March 20th at Del Mar High School in San Jose, Jeff Cobb finds himself once again working his way up to another title shot through Dom “The Bomb” Vitalli (0-1) from Arizona.

“I am in for a tough match with Dom Vitalli. He is one of the best in the Arizona area and I hear recently he has been dominating the wrestling scene in Texas.  Going into March 20th, I am focusing on my training and execution of my moves. Against Vitalli, I have to be on top of my game.”

Going one on one with Dom Vitalli, the former title holder knows he will be in for a war at PREMIER VIII: Kratos vs Lewis.

“Vitalli is a veteran, who has a lot of tools in his tool box. Being a veteran, he likes to dictate the pace of the match. I have to impose my will and set my pace. That is the key for my victory. Also, Vitalli is desperate to gain his first victory in PREMIER, so a desperate man is always a dangerous man. I will be ready for whatever he brings on March 20th in San Jose.”
